We had a late night at the bonfire last night, and I woke up with the worst head ache !! Not impressed since I wasn't even drinking !! I spent the day on the couch !!

Unfortunately I was so engrossed in cleaning our my walk in robe I totally missed the first one during the day :(

Today was our 6th Wedding Anniversary ! Most couples do romantic things. I started the day with going to the hairdresser and then returned home and got changed. Hubby and I started loading the trailer up with with some stuff to take to the tip. We started with a load of recyclables and then hard rubbish. We also went to the "Tip Shop" while we were there to have a look around - it was a fun outing - not everyones cup of tea. But we had a great day outside and a good chuckle at how were spending the day ! While we were at the tip shop we came across this sculpture - it was awesome !!

It is Soup Weather ! Today I put on a delicious chicken and vegetable soup in the slow cooker before heading to work. It was lovely to come home to delicious smell !! Not to mention it tasting delicious !!

Kangaroo Flat Leisure Centre- the first place I saw the WIGGLES !! I think it was either 1998 or 1999 !! We didn't actually go and see them, we met a friend there who afterwards who had taken his kids to see them ! We were in the car park talking to our friend and The Wiggles walked out and hopped into a MINI VAN !!! They stopped for a chat then off they drove !! Hilarious !! It would never happen now !! I hope all the mumsies of the world had a wonderful day - We headed to my Nana's house today for lunch. Everyone bought a dish or two with them and we had a lovely sharing of meals. this photo is 4 generations of my family. My Nana, My Mumsy, Myself and My Niece. We are very blessed to have our Nana and for my niece to have a great-Nana. Nana is our only living grandparent for both my husband and I - she is such a beautiful lady and we treasure her and love her to bits - as she would say ! Tonight hubby has the fire going outside. We had a lovely roast dinner with hubbies mum for mother's day and then she headed out to another party. Hubby and I have had a lovely sit around the fire with a few drinks and I've been on the net-book using the wireless to complete my blog for the week - loving it !! Diesel is curled up beside me in his basket enjoying the warmth of the fire on his back and Dukey is inside as he is not very keen on it !! But it has been a fantastic night and enjoying the great music selection of music on the radio !! LIFE IS GOOD !!

Tonight we headed off to the pub for tea with friends to celebrate the old man of the houses birthday ! We headed to a pub that we hadn't been to - not as good as we hopped but the company was great and we had a night full of laughs !! Just to be different we had a little punt on the doggies and nags !! I think the biggest win for the night was $12.50 which we were very pleased with !!!

Sometimes we are so focused on what is ahead of us we miss the smaller things in life !! Today I was working with a student on some YEAR 11 English and we were talking about how life should be about the journey not the destination - such a true statement. Often all we see is where we want to be not where we are and what happens around us !! Sometimes you need to look up and down not just ahead !! How fitting then today was it for me to look down and discovery this tiny pink handbag next to the wheel of the car I had parked beside !!!
