YAY - I've managed to keep this up for a month !!I only hope I can keep it up now that I start back at work tomorrow - I may not post every day but I will be sure to update on the weekends !!
The weather in Victoria atm is not to my liking - so for the past two days I've stayed as still as possible to try and keep cool.

Well I am finally going to let you in on my excitement !! I have a new job and I am very excited !! 
What a magnificent day I've had. Today Hubby and I took one of our nephews with us to visit our SIL and niece for their birthdays in Moama. We had a great time, my nephew and niece are 3 weeks apart and had a great time playing as well as a glorious swim in the pool to top it off ! We then headed home and dropped our nephew off then home to change and headed out for a delicious meal at the Turkish Kitchen - OMG the food is magnificent !!

We have our first tomato !! I have two pots of tomatoes, and this one was in the pot of what I thought were dead !!! It's probably the only one we'll get - but hey one is better than none and I'm new to this veggie garden thing !! oh and I ate it after I took the photo

Apologies for another late blog ! We headed to Melbourne yesterday to help a friend celebrate her birthday. It was a great night- and this old Nana managed to stay up until 3am with out an Ali-Nap - impressive I think !! Another not very exciting photo of my feet as we headed to Melbourne !

It is 11.20pm and we've just got home from dinner with friends - and I realised I haven't blogged - so I did a made rush around the house thinking what the hell I am going to have for today. So I took a photo of the top of our washing machine, as hubby is doing a load of washing (yes my hubby knows how to use the washing machine - impressive hey !! ) As I was getting the photo off my phone I remember I took this photo of my 4 legged boys this morning. This is Dukey's spot on the couch - Diesel doesn't have a long attention span so he moves around a lot - but he does look very comfortable here !! As the photo was taken on my phone, the quality is not that good.

Happy Birthday MUMSY !!We celebrated Mumsy's birthday in a delicious fashion at The Malayan Orchid.Bobby cooked us up a delicious meal and I think we may have rolled out of there !! (due to excessive food not drunk :P )

Well first off - I am feeling so much better today after going to the Chiropractor- I can move my neck and the head ache are dulling - so gooooooooooooooooodddd !!!Tomorrow is my Mumsy's birthday - and she is coming to stay the night with us before she flies out to Tassie on Thursday for a holiday. So I just finished vacuuming the house - I was going to totally disgust you and post a photo of what came out of the vacuum cleaner - but then thought maybe I only find that funny and weird !! But then thought again - heck nobody would ever want to come visit my house again - I do vacuum weekly - which I HATE with the utmost passion !!
Instead I have taken a photo of my Mumsy's birthday card - Yes I do call her Mumsy - sometimes even Mumsical !! - She tells me she hates it - but secretly I know she loves her pet name !! :P - I come from a family of "nicknamers" so when I started calling Mumsy- Mumsy - it stuck - bad luck lady :P :P

A pretty boring PAD today. I am desperate need of my chiropractor - thank goodness we have an appointment tomorrow. I am pretty sure my neck is out- hence stupid head aches !!Mobile Phone Photo 
As I write this, my Mum's town Echuca is under threat of the floods. She personally is safe but I've been on the phone to her numerous times today just checking in with her to make sure she is safe and not stuck on one side of town away from home. We went out to hubbies work today to make sure it was all okay - some small water marks but mostly all good. We also went for a drive out to Lake Eppalock to check out the spillway. When we moved to Bendigo 3 years ago the lake was at 2% capacity - now it is over flowing - crazy !! The road over the wall was closed - we didn't know why - we went for a walk over it and half way decided to turn back - until a lady said - you should keep going it is worth seeing - Well she was right !! - The road on the other side was gone - MASSIVE chunks missing - it was amazing to see. Parts of the road washed away - massive rocks that you wouldn't be able to budge if you tried !! It was amazing to see the different levels of road base !This is just one road - imagine how many other roads are like this and are still under water that we cannot see - there is a big job ahead of us all to rebuild homes, roads and lives in our communities

As you know from previous posts I headed to the T20 last night ( sorry for the late post - no Internet to post yesterday) I went with hubby and friend Katie. We had a great time and we saw Aussies WIN a game of cricket !!!! 
Rain, Rain go away ~ you make for a boring day !!! We are certainly getting cabin fever in our household !! Along with rain, we have horrible humidity - our entire tile floors are wet from it !!To help pass the time we are watching Angel - I got the box set for Christmas - thank goodness it is giving us some thing to watch.
Today's photo is hubbies size 13 feet as he is laying on the floor watching - I know not very exciting - but has been our life for the last couple of days.

Last night I was "blessed" with the delightful insomnia ! At 2.45pm the anger had set in so I got up to watch TV - not a lot to choose from at that hour !! -Lucky I had Nurse Jackie on the TiVo -but it didn't last long :( - Then it was down to Good old Rockford Files and some Baywatch !!! I think I finally dozed off at 6am on the rumpus room floor with the dogs !! I was then awake at 6.45am when hubby got up. I HATE insomnia it makes you so darn angry - chuck in a case of really bad restless leg syndrome and you have yourself a very frustrated woman !!Anyhoo my aim is to stay awake as much as possible today and go to bed a a decent hour and fingers crossed get a good nights sleep ! - I've had one nap from 8.30am - 10.30am so I think I am doing well to be functioning !!

Today it has been raining all day, as with yesterday too - BUT nothing in comparison to the devastating floods that are happening in QLD. It is incredible sad lives are being lost, people are missing, homes and businesses washed away and families separated due to road closures and flash flooding. Each time I log onto facebook there is another status of flood devastation and it makes you aware of the heart ache and sorrow that is happening in QLD. My heart goes out to all those who are currently amid the floods, and those with loved ones in QLD.

What do you know - another PAD of Diesel !! I did warn you !! Diesel has just recovered a lamb neck he had buried a couple a days ago - sounds deliciously disgusting doesn't it !! I was originally taking a photo of Duke but he changed directions and then as I turned around I got this one of Diesel !! A little close but I love his little wet nose and pink tongue - and it's a little different !! 
So the plan was to go storm chasing and get some awesome storm photos from the top of a poppet head. But by the time I got organised the cool clouds had become boring clouds. So instead you get boring ole Tomato Plants !! This is my first time at attempting to grow any kind of vegetables/fruit - This is the "so far" not sure if they develop into delicious mini tomatoes - we'll have to wait to find out !!

I had taken a photo of our delicious dinner we had this evening - home made beef kebabs - they were delicious. But then I've been wanting to try our those sparkler photos all this week and get to bed time and think oh well I'll do it tomorrow night ! Well tonight I was bored and thought what the heck - I'll give it a go - well not as simple as I thought - I first tried with my new DSLR but no luck - more reading the manual I think - so I went back to my old digital and I did okay considering I was doing it on my own !! Meet Duke (Dukey Jox)
Duke came to live with us while my mumsy built her house, he loved it here so much he didn't want to go home !! Duke is Diesel brother - same litter, different daddies. Word on the street is their mumsy "got around a bit" !!! Dukey loves to sleep and have lazy moments in the sun - he does NOT like water unlike his brother !!! Today was a warm day and he was enjoy a snooze on our new rug - which we all love !!
