Saturday was a great day - Visit to the Chiropractor, Hair Dresser and a new dish washer !! For the last 4 years I've been having the same colours in my hair !! Today's visit saw me come home with different colours and much darker after being a light for so long - I am very much enjoying the new look !

My turn to cook tea- forgot to get something out the night before so I headed to the supermarket - yukko !! After wondering around I decided on homemade pizza !! Greek Lamb and A Roast Pumpkin - DELICIOUS !! I thought we'd have heaps left over for lunches but hubby decided not !! We had 2 little pieces left as hubby enjoyed them so much as did I !!

I currently have my car for sale and my brother is driving it around a bit to help put it out there !! Tonight we dropped in at his work to put some for sale stickers on it and of course had to have a beer - which went down very nicely. While I was there I tried Bulmers Cider - which surprisingly tasted alright !!

Sunday = Cleaning :( I hate cleaning !! I am a very untidy person

Today was only minor - should have been major - but cannot be flipped doing any more !! Anyhoo today we were tidying up the study after bringing home a lot of resources from my last job. We had to buy a new bookshelf to fit it all in !

We also moved our hall stand and today's photo is of the middle of the second shelf on the stand.

We don't usually celebrate V'Day and I joked to Hubby on Sunday I hoped he got me something good for V'Day - lots of shit stirring !! - But this bit me on the arse and now I'm the Valentine's Day Scrooge because Hubby came home with a box of my FAVOURITE chocolates !! Ferrero Rocher !!

What a very busy day we've had !!

I've been to the supermarket, butcher and to get the fruit and veggies from the cabbage patch. Then home to un-pack it all and then chop up all my veggies for the week. After lunch we started cleaning up the Barbie Truck. The Barbie Truck is my 4WD and she is up for sale !! Today we cleaned her in and out and now I need to organise some 4 sale stickers and put her profile on carsales.com !

Today's photo is my fridge mate full of our stir fry veggies for the week !! My favourite piece of Tupperware - keeps my veggies fresh for over a week !

YAY for Friday !!! Tonight we headed to a friends place for dinner and a very relaxed Tupperware party !! Ladies in the kitchen, Men in the front room and kids in between !!! During the tuppa party, the children were playing different games, including dress ups !! Amy ran out with "Haha Me Harty" I LOVE pirate dress ups - and Amy equally loves dress ups !! She looked so cute and gave us all a good chuckle !

Ole Dukey Jox gave us a scare this week - I was patting him on Wednesday night and noticed he had a lump in his neck - It didn't worry him when I touched it and hasn't effected his eating, playing or sleeping ! Never the less we took him to the vet on Friday night (earliest we could get in) He is fine - appears to be a swollen gland - we will continue to keep an eye on it - I had been taking photos of him just to compare in case it grew daily.

I am definitely enjoying having more time in the morning to get ready for work - Not to mention I am enjoying doing new things with my hair rather than a quick pony tail or messy bun as I am rushing to get ready !! Today I was watching the Today Show - and braided my hair while I was watching - I decided on a side Braid then came back around the bottom - It wasn't my initial plan to wear it to work to - but upon checking out my handy work in the mirror I decided it looked good enough to wear to work - And am thinking it will be a regular style in my hair range weekly :) especially on non-hair washing days !!

Time to catch up on the week that was !!

It was my first full week in my new job and I am finally feeling like I have purpose !!

The Most exciting thing for this week was hubby picked up his new car - It is the first time we have ever had a brand new car and we are very excited - apart from the part of it being a FORD!! But we are looking past the badges and enjoying our new ride !!

The secondary hatching have made their way into our little court yard we have fenced off from the rest of the block - we are just starting to see some great couch growing after all the rains and these little buggers have made their way in and are going to eat the lot !! NOT HAPPY JAN !!

What a 24 hours of crazy weather !! Rain, Thunder, Lightning, Massive Storms and a husband out with the CFA sandbagging until 3.30am. I suspect there were MANY, MANY, MANY wonderful emergency service volunteers and members of the public out in the rain last night sandbagging, building make shift drains etc - all while getting drenched and eaten alive by mosquito's and many other bugs. Currently it is not raining, but I imagine that won't last long as another storm front heads our way .

Today's photo is my dinner - Home Made Hamburgers and chips - DELICIOUS !! I enjoyed it very much !

Somebody has majorly pissed off the weather gods !! Again we are having crazy weather - luckily nothing like those who have experienced cyclones this week !! This is the Bendigo Creek and normally this is a little trickle running through- but tonight she was a gushing dirty river speeding her way through town !!
