While in Tasmania we did the Boags tour - at the end of the tour we did a beer and cheese tasting - every since we've been craving more !! So we bought some Boags Beer and drank from our glass we purchased while there. We also managed to find all the cheeses in our local supermarket !!

Dinner of champions !!

Yesterday we did the Boags Brewery Tour. It was great to see how it all works. We went back today to grab a couple of photos as you were not allowed to have any cameras on the tour !! This part of the building is the original entry of the the Boags Brewery.

Today we went to Cataract Gorge in Launceston. It was beautiful. Today I handed the camera over to hubby as I was feeling icky due to a head cold .

We did a chair lift ride across the Gorge and then walked back.

A big thank-you to my gorgeous friend Anna for the recommendation .

Today we drove from Hobart up to Launceston !!

The LONG way along the east coast. This was one of our last stops at Binalong Bay. The drive became very scary towards the end as we went around a numerous amount of hair pin turns in the dark. Thank goodness my hubby is a very capable and confident driver - but even he was very happy to reach the motel !!

Today was our first and only crappy day of weather for the week we were in Tassie. We had a bit of a drive around Hobart. We came along what I think was called Sandy Beach. The waves were coming in right up to the walk way and in some places covering the cars in the car park. There were some "silly boys" who were body surfing in it and smashing into the concrete walls - I could have taken photos here all day !!

This is just one of the hundreds I took while I was there !

Today we drove to Port Arthur.

We had a magnificent afternoon here.

It is an amazing place and a must see for those travelling to Tasmania.

Yesterday we welcomed a new member to the family. My youngest brother and his fiance welcomed their first child into the world. We weren't expecting him until we returned from our holiday - luckily we fitted in a quick visit for cuddles before we headed away on our holiday.

This Chook lives on our dining table !! Amongst the piles of crap that she seems to attract !! Every now and then she is lucky and the table is cleared and she is the centre of attention again !!
